After 2 years of absence due to the COVID-19 epidemic, Vietnam Motor Show is ready to spark again with the most impressive performances from the top 14 Automobile Manufacturers worldwide. 

Vietnam Motor Show 2022 (Vietnam Motor Show 2022) will take place from October 26 to 30, 2022  at Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center – SECC (799 Nguyen Van Linh, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City). This biggest show this year will feature an area of up to 40,000m2, and an indoor display area of nearly 20,000m2.

There are a lot of exciting things awaiting you at Vietnam Motor Show 2022. It is the stage for top automobile brands to show their technological advances and this is the first time products like bikes, yachts,… will be introduced to visitors.

Up to present, the organizers of VMS 2022 have confirmed the participation of 14 famous automobile manufacturers including: Audi, Brabus, Honda, Jeep, Lexus, Mercedes-Benz, Mitsubishi Motors, Morgan, MG, RAM, Subaru, Toyota, Volkswagen, Volvo. Among the above brands, Brabus (specializing in Car tuning), Jeep, Morgan and RAM are famous brands first time joining VMS. They are considered the “new breeze” creating not-to-be-missed highlights of this year’s VMS.

Audi

Specifically, at VMS 2022, Audi will display luxury, top-notch and all-electric models: the new Audi A8L, the new Audi e-tron quattro. With the desire to bring interesting feelings when driving, large-size electric SUVs combine sportiness and everyday usability.  

Audi e – Tron GT Quattro is the winner of World Performance Car of the Year 2022 and German Luxury Car of the Year 2022.

Brabus

Meanwhile, Brabus Vietnam brings to this year VMS 2022 their best products, which are the “brabusized” Brabus-tuned S-Class and G-Class lines .

Brabus S500 AMG is the world’s best limousine with confident performance and Brabus Monoblock M21” – shadow chrome finish. The rear bumper of this car insert with exhaust tailpipes and shadow chrome exterior trim.

Jeep – RAM

At VMS 2022, Jeep – RAM focuses on vehicle display activities associated with the natural style, including 4 typical car models: Jeep Wrangler, Jeep Gladiator, RAM 1500 Laramie, RAM TRX with a series of obstacle-avoidance test driving activities.

Jeep Wrangler not the most spacious or accommodating SUV available, but the Wrangler provides a seamless blend of vintage and modern Jeep character.

Mercedes-Benz

Mercedes-Benz Vietnam for the first time  will display the flagship product line in the luxury car segment: Mercedes EQS. Besides, there will be other special models from Mercedes-Benz as well as 2 sub-brands – Mercedes-Maybach and Mercedes-AMG.

Although the launch plan of Mercedes EQS has been announced since April this year, the appearance of this electric car at the VMS 2022 exhibition will certainly still attract a lot of attention from visitors.

At the same time, Mercedes EQS is also the opening model for the presence of the Mercedes-EQ electric car brand in Vietnam. As expected, Mercedes EQS has 2 versions EQS 450 and EQS 580 but the price is still kept secret.

Morgan

Coming to VMS for the first time, Morgan – a British motoring icon will display two of their newest models which are Morgan Plus Four and Morgan Plus Six while introducing the all-new CX-Generation aluminum platform – the outstanding technology making a name for the flagship Plus Six model.

Morgan Plus Four is the newest product from the British Automobile Manufactures Morgan. The nostalgic design enveloping new technology is the highlight that attracts the attention of visitors to VMS 2022.

Plus Four is equipped with a BMW B48 turbocharged 4-cylinder petrol engine with a capacity of 255 horsepower, mated to a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic transmission.

Subaru

On the Subaru side, at VMS 2022, this brand will officially launch the new generation WRX and WRX Wagon models. Outback 2.5iT EyeSight and BRZ 2.4 AT EyeSight are also typical models present at this year’s show. The Japanese automaker promises to impress with the SATD Subaru Advance Technology Drive (SATD) and super stunt show by Guinness world record holder Russ Swift.

Rally-inspired sport compact cars are on the verge of extinction, but the new 2022 Subaru WRX aims to reignite interest for this enthusiast-focused breed. With the adoption of a new architecture aimed at better driving dynamics as well as the addition of more powerful 271-hp turbocharged flat-four engine, the new WRX promises to be an improvement over the outgoing version.

Volkswagen

Volkswagen Vietnam is expected to display 2 new models and 3 typical models. Typical models in the current Volkswagen SUV lineup are the large 7-seater SUV Teramont, the mid-size 7-seater SUV Tiguan and the urban SUV T-Cross. 

With the expansion in scale and display field, the diversity and remarkability of products and technologies, along with the attractiveness and novelty, VMS 2022 is expected to bring to the public outstanding experiences, worthy of being the largest annual exhibition of the Vietnamese automobile industry for many years.

Volvo

When mentioning about the boom in VMS 2022, the name that cannot be ignored is Volvo. Volvo brings to VMS 2022 award-winning models all round the world such as Volvo XC90 Recharge/Inscription, Volvo S90 LWB Inscription, Volvo XC60 Recharge/Inscription, Volvo V60 Cross Country, etc. with a range of safety and advanced driver-assistance systems. 

Style, size, luxury appointments, and a stellar offering of important safety features make the Volvo XC90 a stately choice among vehicles in the huge midsize luxury SUV segment. Available with seating for up to seven passengers, the three-row XC90 is Volvo’s biggest SUV, and it competes with class rivals such as the Porsche Cayenne, BMW X5, Genesis GV80, and Mercedes-Benz GLE-class.

Honda

The 2022 Honda CR-V won’t accelerate anyone’s heart rate, but its spacious interior and fuel-efficient powertrains make it a compelling compact crossover. Family road trips will also require fewer fill-ups than many other SUVs thanks to the CR-V’s noteworthy fuel economy.

With a 1.5L Turbo engine, the 2022 Honda CR-V offers 190 horsepower and a torque of 179 lb. -ft. The vehicle also provides a 2L hybrid engine and two electric motors that produce 212 horsepower.

Mitsubishi 

Xpander 2022 with 20 upgraded features is expected to bring a more complete and comprehensive experience, through the intersection between the luxurious interior and exterior design style of the Crossover, in combination with practical, yet sophisticated utility equipment and smooth operation of an ideal family car.

Lexus

The new LX is more luxurious, more fuel efficient, and more desirable than before, and its modernized package makes  it more competitive with its high-dollar rivals.

MG

Aside from straight-line performance, the updated MG5 EV’s refinement is strong, and it’s also comfortable. It’s far from a luxury machine, but the ride settles down well when cruising. This comfort-focused approach does mean that there isn’t much of a sporty feel, but the MG’s steering is sharp enough and its handling is safe and secure, offering plenty of stability in corners.

Toyota

The transportation revolution continues. The stylish Camry Hybrid gives up nothing, with 208 combined system HP, advanced tech and a drive that makes you want to keep going.

Ram TRX

While full-size trucks certainly aren’t for everybody, they do work particularly well for people who use them for specific tasks like heavy primary work or towing and regional touring. But, the TRX is a halo model like a 911 Turbo is in the Porsche world. A GTS might be all the 911 you need, but if you can afford the Turbo S, you know you’d buy one. Same goes for the TRX in Ram terms.

In addition to famous car brands, for the first time, VMS 2022 has the participation of other vehicles with outstanding brands in the industry such as: Honda Motor with large capacity motorbikes, LuxYacht – Vietnamese luxury yacht, Dat Bike – Vietnamese electric motorbike, Dcar Limousine.
